Brief History Of Freeman Real Estate
In 1966, Barry Freeman received his real
estate license. For the next six years Mr. Freeman built his reputation and
in October 1972 he opened his office at 988 Bathurst Street, Toronto, Ontario,Canada.
Since then Freeman Real Estate Ltd, Brokerage has been a leader in Real Estate sales in
the central and downtown Toronto areas. A strong community voice and presence,
integrity, innovation and leading business ideals, and a commitment to personalized
service distinguish Freeman Real Estate Ltd, Brokerage from other real estate firms.

We are striving to create a website that
not only informs, but creates value for the people who work under our roof.
Simplicity, consistency and value is the direction we wish to take in this new

We are a Community oriented firm dedicated
to establishing a close connection to the neighbourhoods we serve. We are deeply
committed to satisfying our customers. Customer service and satisfaction are
our main strengths. We are a boutique specialized real estate firm selling traditional/vintage
homes in the central and downtown core.
Commitment to the Community
Personal service to the neighbourhood
often involving time and commitment to local causes is emphasized.
We are members of a broad range of local Residents & Business Associations.
We regularly sponsor a wide range of community events. Some of our most recent
involvements have included:
- Donating gifts, money and prizes to various community groups including:
public schools, St.Alban’s Boys and Girls Club,Community Picnics.
- Christmas food drive. An annual event for many years providing food and
gifts to those in need in the community. Usually a group of between 7-10 families
are provided for.
- Music In The Park. An annual event in late June of each year in which the
music of the world is celebrated in an outdoor venue at Vermont Square Park
(in the Bathurst and Dupont area).
- Freeman Real Estate is also instrumental in rallying behind a wide range
of local issues. These have recently included:
- Sponsoring all candidates meetings for political elections.
- Underwriting the cost of both buttons and signs for the “Annex
Says No to Megacity” campaign.
- Underwriting the cost of buttons for the “Save Our Schools”
campaign that focussed on stopping the closure of public schools.
